Backend Software Engineer (Go, Kubernetes)

On behalf of our international partner, we are looking for a Backend Software Engineer with strong Go and Kubernetes expertise to join their Budapest-based engineering team.

You will play a key role in building a cloud-native AI and data analytics platform, working on the core backend systems that power distributed workload execution and resource management at scale.

Backend Software Engineer (Go, Kubernetes)

Feladataim

• Design and develop backend services in Go
• Build and enhance a Kubernetes-based workload execution platform
• Work on distributed systems supporting AI and ML workloads
• Contribute to platform components such as resource management, isolation, and orchestration
• Collaborate closely with a highly experienced, internationally distributed engineering team
• Take ownership of services from design through deployment

Az Ön képzettségi szintje

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong development experience in Go (Golang)
• Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture
• Experience building reliable, scalable, and maintainable backend services
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset
• Confident English communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes Operators, CRDs, or controller development
• Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Knowledge of Docker, Helm, CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to machine learning workloads or data platforms
• Familiarity with the CNCF ecosystem
